Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server in a production environment as a subject-matter expert.
  • •Deep expertise designing logical and physical data models (schema design, normalization, partitioning, and indexing) for OLTP workloads.
  • •Advanced performance tuning skills, including T-SQL and stored procedure optimization with execution plan analysis.
  • •Proven experience managing and troubleshooting SQL Server databases at terabyte scale (tables with billions of rows; high transaction throughput).
  • •Strong ability to diagnose production capacity and contention issues (e.g., lock/latch contention, TempDB performance, transaction management) and plan for data growth.
