Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute Protege-led and co-sponsored events from planning through attribution across the East Coast and Europe on tight, fast-changing timelines.
  • •Host on-the-ground as needed (events manager and face of Protege), resolving venue and last-minute details to meet event quality standards.
  • •Source, manage, and coordinate third-party event staff and vendors (catering, AV, greeters, photography/videography, florals, and venue staff).
  • •Partner with commercial and DataLab research teams to align event design and programming to clear goals and outcomes.
  • •Generate and write event social media content; own event logistics/travel for events you lead and update marketing playbooks accordingly.

Key Requirements

  • •Personally owned B2B conferences, corporate dinners, or hosted activations from logistics through wrap-up recap.
  • •Track record of connecting events (large and small) to commercial outcomes such as pipeline, account expansion, or partnerships.
  • •Strong hospitality and hosting presence with high detail orientation.
  • •Scrappiness to stretch tight budgets and resolve last-minute venue issues without a playbook.
  • •Generalist marketing ability to write and execute (e.g., LinkedIn posts and one-pagers) alongside event planning.
