Job Summary

Build the AI layer of an open-source observability platform, enabling agent-native observability. Work on the Noz AI teammate, the SigNoz MCP server that lets LLM agents query logs, metrics, and traces, and AI SRE/LLM observability. Tackle long-running, secure agent backends with streaming (SSE), tool calling, and session state—using Go and async Python to ship dependable systems end to end.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop AI backend capabilities for agent-native observability, including orchestration, tool execution, and streaming APIs.
•Build and maintain the SigNoz MCP server so LLM agents can query user logs, metrics, and traces.
•Solve hard agent-backend problems such as long-running execution, security, SSE streaming, tool calling, and session state across databases.
•Deliver LLM/GenAI observability using OpenTelemetry so teams can monitor AI applications.
•Collaborate with a remote-first team to design, implement, and roll out reliable backend systems.

Key Requirements

•5-8 years building backend systems in production with hands-on experience using both Go and Python.
•Strong Go skills (concurrency, channels, performance) and async Python using FastAPI, Pydantic, and asyncio.
•Designed and shipped LLM features in production (agents, tool/function calling, evals, MCP) with context and prompt engineering.
•Experience building and operating distributed systems with clean, scalable code.
•Ability to drive initiatives end-to-end from problem discovery through design, implementation, and rollout.
