Key Responsibilities

  • •Own a core area of the XDR roadmap end to end, driving detection, correlation, incident building, and response across endpoint, cloud, identity, and network.
  • •Expand and maintain XDR telemetry and integrations using first-party Elastic data and third-party EDR, cloud, identity, and network sources.
  • •Contribute to exposure and vulnerability management, including prioritization by exploitability/reachability and remediation workflow.
  • •Write requirements engineering can act on without clarification meetings, translating customer input and Elastic Security Labs research into product.
  • •Represent product in customer conversations and create roadmap artifacts (e.g., trackers and decision memos) to keep stakeholders aligned.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 5 years in security-related technical product management, competitive analysis, or technical marketing, plus a minimum of 3 years in related product development or technical field.
  • •Track record owning product areas from requirements through shipped, iterated outcomes.
  • •Hands-on domain knowledge of XDR/EDR/SIEM, incident response, or forensics (e.g., SOC analyst, detection engineer, or incident responder).
  • •Ability to build or own products relying on heterogeneous third-party data with strong telemetry and integration breadth.
  • •BS or MS degree in engineering, computer science, or information security is required.
