Job Summary

Provide general clerical and accounting support for live and/or production operations at the assigned processing plant, hatchery, or feed mill. Under general supervision, handle filing and departmental support, compile operational data, enter it into systems or spreadsheets, and prepare reports. Partner with Accounting to verify and balance inventories, gather and report Agristat data, and follow safety and protective equipment requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide clerical support such as filing, copying, and tracking absences and occurrences for the assigned department or location.
•Collect and compile production and operational data, enter it into the correct software database system or spreadsheet, and prepare reports.
•Partner with Accounting personnel to verify and balance inventories and report variances to appropriate personnel.
•Gather and report Agristat data accurately and in a timely manner.
•Perform other duties as assigned while following safety policies and wearing required protective equipment.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting preferred.
•Minimum 1 year relevant clerical and accounts payable or accounts receivable experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
•Exceptional verbal and written communication with strong attention to detail and efficient issue resolution.
•Proficient computer and math skills, with moderate to advanced Excel skills preferred.
•Self-starter with strong organizational skills to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
