Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and execute project execution plans with governance, stage-gate and compliance requirements.
  • •Deliver approved scope across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning within cost, schedule and quality targets.
  • •Coordinate project interfaces and align design, scope and operational requirements; manage scope changes.
  • •Manage procurement and commercial activities, including long-lead equipment, vendor performance, contract administration and claims/variation requests.
  • •Oversee construction and commissioning, monitor progress and productivity, and lead project handover to operations while managing contractors and project controls (cost/schedule/scope).

Key Requirements

  • •Grade 12 (or equivalent NQF Level 4) qualification.
  • •Degree or National Diploma in Engineering, Mining, Construction, or related discipline.
  • •Project management qualification (advantageous).
  • •Valid driver’s licence and medical fitness to work in a mining environment.
  • •5–10 years’ experience in project, construction or engineering environments in mining or heavy industry, delivering capital projects within cost, schedule and scope constraints.
