Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations and achieving operational, business, and personnel targets.
  • •Support day-to-day store management through a specific divisional responsibility (Sales or Operations) to meet KPIs and profit and loss expectations.
  • •Assist with succession, recruiting, hiring, and training plans, and develop staff through performance feedback, coaching, and fostering a team environment.
  • •Take accountability for in-store training and execution across business, operations, sales/customer service, and visual merchandising.
  • •Ensure cash management accuracy, minimize shrink, maintain store/product security, and assure POS integrity and compliance with company policies and government legislation.

Key Requirements

  • •College or University degree and 1 year of retail experience, preferably in the sporting apparel and footwear industry, or equivalent education and experience.
  • •Prior management experience and keyed experience preferred.
  • •Proficient skills in coaching and talent management.
  • •Excellent computer skills (MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to quickly learn new systems (e.g., POS systems, web-portals).
  • •Ability to work a varied schedule including weekends, evenings, and statutory holidays.
