Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the pod’s margin performance and operating economics, including cost-to-deliver and gross margin; represent performance in weekly business review.
  • •Bring the four-quarter roadmap to life by translating strategy and priority bets into an executable delivery roadmap and mobilizing cross-functional teams.
  • •Manage and grow a team of Strategic Project Leads to ensure projects are delivered on time with required quality and financial return.
  • •Ensure the full project portfolio (samples, OTS datasets, proprietary data products, bespoke engagements) is delivered against expected economics.
  • •Build repeatable pod rhythms, playbooks, and systemic fixes by obsessing over quality and turning recurring failures into improvements to the operating model and tooling.

Key Requirements

  • •Have ownership of a P&L or business unit, including making pricing and cost trade-offs.
  • •Bring deep technical domain depth (e.g., software engineering, computer use and agents, or an adjacent frontier area) to evaluate data quality and engage technical arguments.
  • •Show a track record of building from scratch and owning outcomes, not just administering work.
  • •Demonstrate commercial judgment with customers, including scoping engagements and holding hard margin or timeline conversations.
  • •Have prior people management experience (preference for 3+ years) and typically 8+ years at a meaningful level.
