Job Summary

Own and deliver data-led and AI-driven product propositions within the Data & Insights function for Vocalink and Mastercard. Identify high-value opportunities across customer pain points and payments analytics, define and prioritize data product roadmaps, and drive end-to-end delivery using Agile. Collaborate with Engineering, Data Science, and Commercial to build new solutions, publish business cases and pricing strategies, and support go-to-market through customer engagement and partnership opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive the Data & Insights strategy from ideation through launch, scaling, and commercialisation of data-driven products and services.
•Identify and prioritise high-value data and AI-led opportunities that address customer pain points and enable new revenue-generating services.
•Coordinate end-to-end product development with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Data Science, Commercial) using Agile methodologies.
•Develop new data solutions using Mastercard’s Studio framework, including validating customer needs and building business cases and pricing strategies.
•Define and deliver data product roadmaps, present solutions to senior stakeholders and customers, and support go-to-market activities including partnerships and distribution strategies.

Key Requirements

•Experience in data & AI product management, data science, or a related field within financial services, FinTech, insurance, or other regulated industries.
•Bachelor’s degree (Master’s or PhD preferred) in Data Science, Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Administration or equivalent work experience.
•Proven experience building and commercialising data-driven, advanced analytics, AI, and ML products using multiple data sources (e.g., payments and card transactions).
•Experience across two or more areas such as forecasting/predictive analytics, self-service reporting, early warning systems, customer segmentation/scoring, credit risk insights, or personalisation.
•Strong understanding of AI and data science techniques including statistical modelling, logistic regression, NLP, LLMs, Generative AI, and Agentic AI.
