Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as the 2IC and lead day-to-day operations in the absence of the Brand Home Manager.
  • •Take full responsibility for end-to-end kitchen operations, including people/process/performance and daily supervision.
  • •Own menu development aligned to brand positioning, seasonality, guest expectations, and cost/profitability targets.
  • •Drive kitchen commercial performance through food costing and pricing, waste reduction, margin management, and metrics tracking support.
  • •Manage stock, procurement controls, and reporting—conducting stock takes, handling variances, supporting performance tracking, and contributing to SOP development.

Key Requirements

  • •Must have a matric certificate or equivalent.
  • •Relevant qualification in Hospitality or Culinary Arts (advantageous).
  • •Proven kitchen and food experience with an ability to lead end-to-end kitchen operations.
  • •Experience in hospitality, brand home, or premium guest environments.
  • •Exposure to financial tracking, costing, or operational reporting.
