Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform preventive maintenance such as changing oil and filters, transmission flush, and inspecting vehicles for mechanical deficiencies.
  • •Perform repairs and maintenance based on certification levels, including systems such as OBD II, brakes, tires, tune-ups, suspension components, electrical systems, and safety inspections.
  • •Perform light to major repairs and advanced vehicle diagnostics; handle a range of troubleshooting across drivability, emissions, steering/suspension, HVAC, and engine/hydraulics.
  • •Maintain/repair shop equipment and keep the shop area clean and tidy while following safety standards and proper disposal procedures.
  • •Create and maintain vehicle history and maintenance records; coordinate with vendors for parts and repairs; provide roadside assistance as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED (or 3+ years of related work experience servicing vehicles instead of the degree).

  • •Continue training to maintain current A.S.E. status and meet technology/fleet changes (preferred).
