Job Summary

Design and review electrical and ICA components for wastewater and water infrastructure projects across feasibility, outline, detail, and construction design stages. Support site surveys, produce key deliverables (load schedules, single line diagrams, instrument schedules, cable calculations), and develop PLC/SCADA and control philosophy documentation. Collaborate with multi-discipline teams, assist with bid support, and mentor more junior engineers while delivering high-quality designs within budget and timeline.

•Conduct site surveys and support client, contractor, and supplier liaison activities.
•Engage across design stages (feasibility through construction design) while meeting national and international design standards.
•Collaborate with other discipline teams and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders throughout design and planning.
•Assist with bids and ensure delivery of quality designs and client deliverables within budgets and timelines while mentoring junior staff.

Key Requirements

•Proven experience designing water and wastewater engineering deliverables, with multi-disciplinary knowledge and ideally treatment scheme experience.
•BEng or MEng in a related engineering field, including experience in water and wastewater treatment.
•Chartered (or near Chartered) Member of a relevant Professional Institution.
•Proven experience working at a senior engineer level within a consultancy in the water sector.
•Experience managing projects, delegating tasks, and providing technical mentoring.
