Key Responsibilities

  • •Design advanced hydrotechnical solutions that strengthen community resilience, including flood mitigation, hydraulic structures, ice engineering, and watershed systems.
  • •Deliver hydrologic/hydraulic modelling and analysis that informs high-profile infrastructure, transportation, and mining projects.
  • •Lead multidisciplinary teams through full project cycles—from early concepts to construction and client care—ensuring technical excellence and regulatory compliance.
  • •Advance sustainability by applying environmental and climate-resilient design principles throughout each project stage.
  • •Grow client relationships and support proposals, strategic pursuits, and long-term partnerships while mentoring emerging engineers and embedding WSP safety/quality standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Deep experience in hydrotechnical and water resources engineering delivered through hands-on projects across flood protection, hydraulic structures, and watershed systems.
  • •Eligibility for registration as a Professional Engineer in Manitoba.
  • •Proficiency with hydrologic/hydraulic modelling tools (e.g., HEC-RAS, MIKE, PCSWMM) and data-driven approaches to water challenges.
  • •Ability to lead and guide teams while shaping solutions and supporting a collaborative environment for professional growth.
  • •A strategic mindset that balances technical rigour with client needs and long-term project impacts.
