Job Summary

Lead the development of analytics, machine learning, and generative AI solutions for a mission-critical defense health program. You’ll build predictive and prescriptive models, develop RAG/LLM capabilities, and operationalize machine learning using modern data and AI platforms. Partner with clients to translate requirements into technical solutions, deliver decision-support insights, and support production deployment with monitoring, testing, and documentation. Remote with hybrid opportunities and periodic travel.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and deploy advanced analytics, machine learning, NLP, and AI solutions to support mission and client objectives.
•Build and enhance generative AI and RAG solutions using LLMs, embeddings, vector databases, retrieval strategies, and prompt engineering.
•Perform data acquisition, ETL, exploratory data analysis, data preparation, and validation to support analytics and AI initiatives.
•Develop, test, evaluate, and monitor AI/ML solutions in production to ensure accuracy, reliability, scalability, security, and performance.
•Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate needs into technical solutions, and communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical field (Master's preferred).
•5+ years developing data science, analytics, machine learning, or AI solutions, including leading technical tasks on complex projects.
•Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data preparation, analytics, and model development/testing/deployment.
•Experience designing, developing, validating, and monitoring machine learning models (feature engineering, evaluation, performance optimization).
•Working knowledge of modern AI/NLP concepts including large language models, embeddings, vector databases, prompt engineering, retrieval approaches, and output evaluation.
