Key Responsibilities

  • •Own device fleet and inventory, including configuration, deployment, lifecycle tracking, receiving/storage/checkout/shipping, transfers, spares, and secure disposal.
  • •Operate and maintain lab infrastructure (racks, benches, test rigs, cabling, power, networking, peripherals) and coordinate repairs, replacements, and preventive maintenance.
  • •Prepare devices for testing by flashing, provisioning, resetting, configuring, labeling, and assigning devices to test environments.
  • •Support testing and diagnostics by partnering with engineering and QA on test automation setups, failure reproduction, diagnostics collection, log capture, and environment resets.
  • •Plan lab readiness and capacity by tracking fleet health, rig availability, utilization, and upcoming test needs; partner across teams to keep the lab ready for development and release.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven track record operating or supporting a hardware/electronics/reliability/manufacturing/QA test lab.
  • •Hands-on experience managing fleets of consumer electronics, embedded devices, prototypes, or connected hardware.
  • •Comfort setting up, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining devices, test rigs, networking, power systems, and peripherals across USB, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, Bluetooth, and device connectivity.
  • •Ability to follow technical procedures for provisioning, firmware installation, resets, diagnostics collection, and test setup.
  • •Strong organizational skills to manage inventory, asset tracking, maintenance records, lab logistics, and shared-space documentation.
