Job Summary

Supervise Quality Control activities to verify product conformity to customer specifications through independent inspection and tests under the Project Quality Plan. Identify and drive resolution of non-conformities, develop quality and inspection/test plans, and coordinate with QC/NDT/Certification/Welding, Operations, certifying authorities, clients, and subcontractors. Interpret code specifications and requirements, document deviations via the Site Query System, and assess QC inspector effectiveness through audits.

Key Responsibilities

•Supervise Quality Control activities to determine product conformity through independent inspection and tests per the Project Quality Plan.
•Identify non-conformities for rectification and ensure final resolution.
•Develop Project Quality Plans, inspection, and test plans in consultation with the Project Quality Manager.
•Liaise with QC/NDT/Certification/Welding Engineering, Operations, certifying authorities, clients, and subcontractors to address and resolve quality issues.
•Provide interpretation of applicable code specifications and customer requirements, documenting deviations/waivers through the Site Query System; verify QC inspector effectiveness via random audits of CIRs.

Key Requirements

•Senior high school graduate or degree in a relative field of study.
•10+ years of Quality Control or related experience in a relative discipline.
•Proficient with computers and Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
•Experience solving complex inspection problems and working independently with minimal guidance.
•Ability to supervise inspection activities and support product conformity to customer specifications.
