Key Responsibilities

•Assist in the successful delivery of major development applications and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams across various project types.
•Assist with project management and implement quality and health and safety principles.
•Provide planning advice to colleagues and clients on planning consent requirements and the application of permitted development rights.
•Carry out planning research and analysis and assist with planning feasibility reports and consent strategies.
•Write Planning Statements and Design and Access Statements for development applications and lead, submit, and manage planning applications, including liaison with local planning authorities and other stakeholders.

Key Requirements

•Degree in Town Planning or a related discipline (desirable).
•Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) or an equivalent professional body (desirable).
•Demonstrable and relevant experience of working on planning applications.
•Sound knowledge of English planning policy and legislation.
•Commercial awareness and ability to write clearly and concisely.
