Key Responsibilities

  • •Balance cost, reliability, and production rate in a dynamic environment and make risk-based decisions
  • •Analyze supplier spend, capacity, capabilities, and core competencies to develop negotiation and engagement strategies with sustainable cost controls
  • •Assess supplier core competencies and expand the core supply base, monitoring vendor performance (cost, quality, delivery)
  • •Collaborate with key suppliers and strategic partners to develop sourcing strategies and present roadmaps to internal stakeholders
  • •Ensure on-time build by driving fulfillment from the vendor base and maintaining lineside inventory health aligned with the MRP Demand plan

Key Requirements

  • •Advanced degree and 3+ years of experience in Engineering, Purchasing, Contract negotiation, Operations or supply chain management; or a Bachelor's with 5+ years in one or more of these areas; or 9+ years total experience in these areas
  • •Technical procurement and vendor management experience in aerospace/high-volume manufacturing
  • •Strong negotiation skills to ensure best-in-class pricing while maintaining quality and delivery
  • •Ability to read technical drawings, data sheets, fabrication drawings, BOMs and related files; experience with NPI and mass production
  • •Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills; proficiency with MS Office Suite, SQL, and Access
