Key Responsibilities

  • •Promote and follow plant safety guidelines and ensure safety and environmental standards are met for alternate fuels and alternate raw materials.
  • •Drive local Sapphire operations to maximize AF/ARM use and partner with the plant team to optimize quality and quantity for stable kiln operation.
  • •Manage on-site coprocessing and off-site preprocessing, including receiving, blending, dosing, handling, shredding, and beneficiation activities.
  • •Oversee supplier relationships, plan/manage deliveries, and track incoming AF/ARM shipments with weekly/monthly inventory reconciliations.
  • •Coordinate AF/ARM trials and support management of change processes while monitoring service quality and minimizing out-of-spec impacts.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum of a 2-year degree in trades school in construction management, mechanics, electronics, or a related field.
  • •Preferred: a 4-year degree in mechanical, electrical engineering, or related field.
  • •Minimum of 7 years’ experience in resource recovery/processing or in industrial manufacturing/mining environments.
  • •Ability to see initiatives through to completion.
  • •Proficient computer skills including email and applications such as SAP and Excel.
