Job Summary

Design and document low-voltage telecommunications and building technology systems for mission-critical environments, producing BIM/CAD drawings (2D/3D) and coordinating with multi-discipline teams. Lead telecom design activities on projects, mentor junior designers, and travel to project sites to ensure designs meet client and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Design Outside Plant Pathways and other building systems including MMR/IDF layouts, Cable Tray layouts, Wireless Access Point layouts, and structured Cabling infrastructure layout to support the Controls Network
•Produce accurate 2D drawings and 3D BIM Models using Revit or equivalent BIM program
•Design low voltage systems for buildings including telecommunications systems, audio visual, security, and electrical/mechanical control integrations
•Lead Telecom design team on projects and mentor junior designers
•Attend internal and client meetings to represent the Telecom discipline and ensure designs meet project requirements

Travel: Medium travel

Salary: USD 96,800 - 135,000 annually

Key Requirements

•3-5 years of experience designing low voltage systems for high performing commercial, industrial, or mission critical/data center buildings
•Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant work experience
•Experience with applicable software packages including AutoCAD, Revit
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Ability to travel to project sites
