Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Review trust agreements, amendments, restatements, and other estate planning documents for legal accuracy, trustee powers, fiduciary responsibilities, risk exposure, and tax-sensitivity guidelines.
  • •Collaborate with Baird Financial Advisors, Market Directors, and other PWM associates to answer client questions and provide thought leadership.
  • •Deliver presentations and continuing education seminars on estate, tax, and trust planning topics for internal associates and professionals.
  • •Assist Trust Counsel and Baird Trust associates with trust and estate matters as needed.
  • •Participate on Trust Company projects and help introduce new initiatives, systems, products/services, and processes.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
  • •5+ years of experience in the trust industry (preferred).
  • •Juris Doctorate (JD) (CFP and CTFA are a plus).
  • •Ability to review trust and estate planning documents for legal accuracy and fiduciary responsibilities.
  • •Willingness to support Trust Counsel and trust associates with trust and estate matters as needed.
