Job Summary

Monitor closure production from raw materials through finished goods to ensure required quality documents, samples, and records are compliant. Verify incoming certificates, process non-conformances with suppliers and manufacturing, and maintain retain inspection logs and production records. Support internal auditing and testing (including metrology such as Comparator and FTIR) while assisting with quality projects and data acquisition software (Lighthouse), following Food Safety and cGMP policies.

Key Responsibilities

•Monitor closure production stages from raw materials through finished goods to ensure compliance with required procedures and documentation.
•Verify incoming raw materials and certificates; process non-conformance and communicate issues to suppliers and manufacturing management.
•Inspect product retains and maintain retain inspection logs; perform required testing and maintain production records.
•Coordinate retention times and sending records to outside storage; ensure outgoing product quality documents/samples are acceptable (e.g., Certificates of Analysis, pre-shipment and tailgate samples).
•Support internal auditing, quality department projects, and manufacturing data acquisition/testing, following Food Safety and cGMP policies.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED is required; Associate’s degree in plastics, automation, or an equivalent technical discipline is preferred.
•2–3 years of experience in manufacturing or Quality Assurance.
•Working knowledge of Quality Assurance processes, ISO procedures, GMP, and statistical methods including control charts and SPC.
•Computer application skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
•Excellent organizational and communication skills; ability to work independently.
