Job Summary

Lead and mentor a team of 4–5 engineers developing peripheral drivers, bootloaders, and platform software for Jacinto SoC devices. Own technical components end-to-end, including release planning and delivery, and drive architecture and design decisions. Build and optimize complex drivers using CI/CD workflows, debug embedded systems with JTAG/trace/logic analyzers, and ensure code quality and ISO 26262 compliance while improving execution with automation and AI/ML tools.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and mentor a team of 4–5 engineers developing peripheral drivers, bootloaders, and platform software for multiple SoCs.
•Drive embedded technical architecture and design decisions, owning technical components end-to-end through release planning and delivery.
•Design, develop, and optimize complex drivers using CI/CD-based workflows, and ensure code quality standards across the team.
•Debug and enhance existing software systems using JTAG, trace analyzers, and logic analyzers.
•Serve as Sprint Leader/Release Manager and ensure compliance with ISO 26262 standards and required documentation while collaborating with cross-functional leads and PMO.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
•10+ years of embedded software development.
•Expert proficiency in C programming and embedded systems development, including reading and implementing datasheets/specifications.
•In-depth knowledge of RTOS with experience in FreeRTOS.
•Ability to lead by mentoring engineers and drive project delivery while collaborating cross-functionally.
