Own the equipment portion of HVAC projects by validating equipment selection, configurations, and pricing while reviewing plans, specifications, and estimates. Evaluate costs, identify savings opportunities, and validate quantities and configurations. Support sales with preliminary and final submittals, reconcile job costs, and lead consensus and submittal release updates. After order close, provide technical support through installation, start-up, warranty service, and controls equipment for customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

•Optimize/validate HVAC equipment selection by reviewing plans, specifications, original estimates, and proposals (size, configuration, voltage, options).
•Evaluate cost savings and cost problems across projects, and validate project scope by reviewing transition documents, plans, and specs.
•Plan EQ/VPP dollar breaks; validate quantities and configurations; and reconcile job costs.
•Support sales with preliminary and final submittals, run job cost consensus meetings, release submittals, and implement required changes.
•Provide post-order technical support for equipment installation, including new equipment, start-up, warranty service, and controls equipment execution.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 65,200 - 118,860 annually

Key Requirements

•Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Construction, or Engineering Technology, or equivalent education and HVAC project management/estimating experience (2+ years) or equivalent combination.
•Minimum five (5) years of HVAC experience performing project management or estimating roles (or equivalent combination).
•Familiarity with HVAC systems and/or temperature controls.
•Flexibility to work outside normal work hours as required.
•Must have a valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations (including DUI, Hit & Run, license suspension, reckless/careless driving, or preventable collisions).
