Key Responsibilities

•Contribute to the monthly, quarterly and year-end closing of a large corporate entity under IFRS and HGB in an international matrix, under tight deadlines.
•Serve as a competent interface and point of contact for auditors, group consolidation and adjacent departments.
•Handle General Ledger and Subledger operations, including routine postings and complex, exceptional bookings in the main and sub-ledgers with accuracy.
•Monitor and ensure data quality across all transactional activities; perform reconciliations and analyses of balance sheet accounts.
•Collaborate across functions on accounting topics and participate in ERP migration and cross-functional accounting projects.

Key Requirements

•A minimum of a 4-year degree in economics, business administration, finance or international management (or equivalent).
•Specialist qualification in individual and group financial statements under IFRS or strong knowledge of HGB.
•Very good knowledge of ERP systems (especially SAP) and the ability to perform complex analyses (e.g., excellent Excel skills).
•Extensive professional experience in finance/accounting (5 years).
•Project management and experience in controlling are a plus; strong communication skills; fluent in German and English.
