Job Summary

Design and develop video codec algorithms and C/C++ reference models for advanced video encoding and processing that will be implemented on FPGA/ASIC hardware accelerators. Use C/C++ models to support architectural modeling and algorithm benchmarking, and collaborate with HW architecture and design teams to co-design optimal solutions. Work with experts across algorithm, architecture, software, firmware, and hardware verification for large-scale, high-performance video platforms.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and develop algorithms and C/C++ models for advanced video encoding and processing for hardware implementation
•Support C/C++ models for architectural modeling and algorithm benchmarking
•Collaborate with the HW architecture and design team for optimal algorithm/architecture co-design

Key Requirements

•BS degree or above in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent fields
•Strong knowledge of video coding standards including AVC/H.264, HEVC/H.265, AV1, and VVC
•Solid experience developing video/image signal processing algorithms in C/C++
•Collaborative mindset with solid written and verbal communication skills
•Preferred: experience designing video encoding/processing hardware accelerators or FW algorithm/architecture for video codecs
