Operate a single-blade saw by reading production schedules, identifying required materials, and setting up equipment to meet quality specifications for grade, size, and moisture content. Feed and offload/stack components according to established procedures, perform required inspections and preventive maintenance, complete production records, and follow safety and quality procedures including LOTO. Maintain a clean, organized work area and participate in safety and continuous improvement programs.

Key Responsibilities

•Set up and operate a single-blade saw, reading production scheduling sheets to identify required material.
•Ensure materials meet quality specifications (grade, size, moisture content) and check materials/finished products for compliance.
•Perform setups and feed material according to specifications, periodically checking equipment to maintain requirements.
•Offload and stack material per established procedures; cover, label, and band finished components when required.
•Complete pre-shift startup equipment inspections, perform preventive maintenance, maintain production records, and follow safety procedures including LOTO.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
•Minimum 3 months of experience using saws or similar equipment; some manufacturing/assembly experience is preferred.
•Working knowledge of basic math is preferred.
•Must be at least 18 years of age.
•Ability to follow established safety and quality procedures and work instructions.
