Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain electrical equipment and troubleshoot circuit problems, installing, rebuilding, commissioning or repairing as needed; assist with service calls on shift.
  • •Work closely with the operating area to support goals; assist operations technicians with troubleshooting and emergency repairs and learn mechanical maintenance tasks as necessary.
  • •Prioritize safety by following rules and safe work procedures, reporting near misses, and maintaining housekeeping.
  • •Troubleshoot issues by reading PLC logic and using diagnostic equipment; address issues related to production machine coordinated drives; maintain SAP Plan Maintenance System and related documentation.
  • •This role is shift based, requiring a 12-hour shift pattern with a mix of days and nights.

Key Requirements

  • •Are qualified to a minimum of ONC/C&G Part III or HNC/NVQ Level 3 in an Electrical Engineering time-served apprenticeship.
  • •Have proven electrical experience in either process or a production environment in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods or similar industry.
  • •Have electrical experience in PLC (Allen Bradley preferably), SCADA, instrumentation and 415v motor control circuits.
  • •Have high level of accountability coupled with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence others.
  • •Fluent ability to communicate in English.
