Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor systems for customer-reported emails and assess whether reported messages are threats or benign.
  • •Analyze phishing campaigns and related threats to identify patterns and determine malicious nature.
  • •Gather intelligence from analyzed malware for dissemination to customers, including guidance to mitigate threats.
  • •Initiate, update, communicate, and document resolutions for threat analysis tickets opened for customers.
  • •Write rules, signatures, and descriptors for data sharing and automation technologies; assist with monthly customer reporting and process improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •1+ years of IT security experience or security education
  • •Demonstrated experience performing phishing and malware analysis
  • •Working knowledge of networking, operating systems, email infrastructure, antivirus programs, and advanced threat detection systems
  • •Ability to apply critical thinking to threat investigations and determine when malware review needs prompt escalation
  • •Preferred: a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience
