Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee EHS activities for the Zoeterwoude site and provide support/oversight for other Thermopatch sites in the Netherlands (Almere and Helmond).
  • •Cultivate and drive a proactive safety culture across functions while maintaining a hands-on presence on the shopfloor.
  • •Develop and deliver environmental, health, and safety education and training to meet regulatory and business standards.
  • •Lead incident investigations (releases, injuries, near-misses) and implement high-value learnings.
  • •Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance and repair work on plant equipment and systems, influencing technical teams without direct reports.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental Engineering/Science, or a related field.
  • •3+ years of experience in a similar EHS or H&S role within a manufacturing environment.
  • •Strong knowledge of Netherlands EHS regulatory requirements, policies, procedures, and programs.
  • •Proven experience with life safety codes, EHS rules, HAZOP, and Process Safety Management.
  • •Must be based in the Netherlands and authorized to work without sponsorship; excellent Dutch and English communication skills.
