Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as a team lead, project manager, and/or discipline lead on planning studies, preliminary design studies, and final design for BRT projects.
  • •Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, and visual aids for BRT infrastructure and multimodal street design.
  • •Coordinate interdisciplinary reviews of project deliverables and ensure design efforts align with budget and schedule.
  • •Develop construction cost estimates and technical effort estimates, and prepare technical specification sections.
  • •Provide quality control review of design calculations/drawings and mentor entry-level engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering plus 8 years of relevant experience (or equivalent education/experience).
  • •Professional Engineering license.
  • •Proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil 3D or Microstation/Power InRoads/Power GeoPak/OpenRoads Designer (ORD).
  • •Roadway design experience with Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) and/or Light Rail Transit (LRT) design experience.
  • •US Citizenship required for the nature of the work.
