Key Responsibilities

  • •Design engineering solutions and drive development of moderately complex products using subject matter expertise.
  • •Deliver product design and assemblies to production on time, cost, and specification (functionality, reliability, safety, performance).
  • •Develop and implement parameters and test plans, including validation of tolerances, shock and vibration, electromagnetic interference, safety, reliability, fan curves, system power measurements, and acoustics.
  • •Lead a project team and manage relationships with outsourced partners and suppliers to ensure quality, schedule, and cost expectations.
  • •Generate process efficiencies through quality documentation and project management, and provide guidance/mentoring to less experienced staff.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline, or commensurate experience.
  • •Typically 4-10 years of work experience in engineering design and solutions.
  • •Experience implementing across the hardware development lifecycle.
  • •Ability to develop parameters and test plans for new and existing designs, including validation of tolerances and form/fit/function.
  • •Experience working with internal and outsourced development partners, suppliers, and stakeholders on design status and issue resolution.
