Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage high-complexity supervision projects, ensuring delivery on schedule and within budget while overseeing team management, quality, HSSE, and risk management.
  • •Review, comment, and approve contractor submittals (including staffing proposals, shop drawings, method statements, and traffic management plans) and QA/QC and HSE plans.
  • •Monitor project schedules, investigate delays, and manage claims and variation orders related to scope, schedule, and cost changes.
  • •Ensure pre-construction actions such as contract documents execution, and transmission of design NOCs and authority approvals to contractors.
  • •Oversee inspections, testing, commissioning, handover procedures, snag and defects rectification, and guide preparation of certificates and final accounts.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
  • •15+ years of experience in Civil Engineering and planning within a top-tier regional/multinational consultancy firm, with deep construction supervision expertise.
  • •Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining client relationships and exposure to construction supervision (client, contractor, supplier management; contract administration; quality; dispute management).
  • •Strong project management skills plus excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities.
  • •Industry experience in the Middle East and strong knowledge of international engineering standards, codes, and local rules/regulations.
