Job Summary

Support the SMBC Bank EU AG ITSD teams by delivering local IT projects to standard, providing frontline IT support, handling tickets, and coordinating with vendors. You’ll ensure system availability, monitor local installations, assist in incident resolution, and participate in business continuity and disaster recovery activities while adhering to security and regulatory standards in a banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Support, review and deliver local IT projects according to expected standards.
•Provide cover to Bank's IT support by answering calls, creating tickets, and coordinating with other teams to solve or escalate issues.
•Coordinate and administer contracts with external vendors, contractors and service providers.
•Ensure incidents and service requests are escalated and progressed through the ticketing system and monitor local installations to assure availability.
•Support system enhancements, release updates, business continuity and disaster recovery activities, and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.

Key Requirements

•Good communication skills and the ability to escalate effectively; ensure different departments share knowledge to support customer needs.
•Practical knowledge of Microsoft Technologies, including Windows Desktop, Active Directory, SCOM and SCCM.
•Practical knowledge of desktop/productivity applications such as MS Office.
•Strong knowledge of Microsoft underlying technologies – DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, File/Print Servers, etc.
•Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and work to tight SLAs with experience of call logging systems (ServiceNow).
