Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform field inspections to ensure construction compliance with plans, specifications, contract documents, and codified requirements.
  • •Collect and analyze on-site data from physical work sites, surveys, plans/blueprints, technical drawings, and material sampling, and document findings accurately.
  • •Use survey instruments, metering devices, and test equipment to verify conformance with rules, standards, codes, and permits.
  • •Provide technical assistance and guidance, resolve issues and interpretation differences, and verify load calculations and change orders.
  • •Write technical reports summarizing inspection findings and coordinate with contractors and technical staff, including pre-construction meetings and payment support.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma.
  • •Minimum of 9 years of relevant post-education experience with prior construction inspection experience.
  • •Essential professional licensure/certification(s) and a valid state driver’s license.
  • •Computer skills to complete daily and weekly reports; able to perform photo documentation with working knowledge of Word and Excel.
  • •Ability to travel and stay for projects, work in extreme weather, and meet stated physical requirements (e.g., lifting 50+ lbs, walking several miles, PPE use).
