Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide pregnancy and birth doula support as an independent contractor in Loula’s network.
  • •Complete the interest form and screening steps to be considered for partnership.
  • •Participate in required training (CPR and HIPAA) and maintain liability insurance.
  • •Receive client referrals through Loula’s client referral/doula matching program.
  • •Work with Loula’s team while Loula manages insurance verification, medical billing, and doula payment.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 100 - 134 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Complete 16 hours of birth doula training and attend 3 births as a doula, OR have 5 years of doula experience with 3 letters of recommendation.
  • •Adult and infant CPR training.
  • •HIPAA training.
  • •Liability insurance.
  • •Be located in California (and meet the listed minimum qualifications) to move forward with an introductory meeting.
