Key Responsibilities

  • •Carry out detailed quantification and quantity takeoffs from architectural and engineering drawings to determine material and labor quantities.
  • •Prepare accurate cost estimates and manage project budgets by monitoring costs, tracking expenditures, and identifying variances.
  • •Support tendering by preparing tender documents, analyzing bids, and assisting with contract negotiation with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • •Administer construction contracts, including reviewing contract terms, processing change orders, and resolving contractual disputes and claims.
  • •Implement cost control, identify risks, ensure quality/specification compliance through inspections, and support HSE initiatives and incident reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years working experience with 3 years of relevant quantity surveying experience.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying, or a Diploma in Engineering / related technical certificates.
  • •Experience with computer-based quantification tools, including CCS (Candy).
  • •Proficiency with AutoCAD for Quantity Takeoff and preparation of Bills of Quantities using standard methods of measurement.
  • •Knowledge of measurement principles and contract frameworks such as NRM2, CESSMMIII, QSSM, QCS, and FIDIC, plus SAP/ERP functional skills.
