Key Responsibilities

  • •Set up and operate assigned CNC equipment to process machined components for heat treat operations per process sheets and drawings.
  • •Use inspection and measurement tools (including SPC methods) to ensure part quality and maintain SPC charts/control plans documentation.
  • •Select, install, and visually inspect tooling; monitor tools for wear and adjust to maintain specifications.
  • •Produce parts that meet required quality, spline/tooth form, lead, involute, finish, and size requirements; perform gear lab inspections and readjust as needed.
  • •Perform minor and preventative maintenance on machines and safely handle materials per safety procedures and company policies.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or GED.
  • •1 year of experience setting up and operating CNC machining equipment in a manufacturing environment.
  • •Must reside within 50 miles of Kings Mountain, NC.

  • •Preferred: 2+ years of CNC setup and operation experience in a manufacturing environment.
