Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise crew in cleaning and maintaining the vessel and dredge equipment.
  • •Supervise crew in repair or replacement of dredge parts.
  • •Work according to HSE requirements, respond to Q/HSE reports, and implement solutions for addressed issues.
  • •Delegate specific responsibilities to Bosun and Leading Hand, assess performance, and introduce efficiency improvement activities.
  • •Safely execute dredge pipeline connections according to NMDC systems and procedures and cooperate on operational issues with dredging and technical crews.

Key Requirements

  • •Vocational dredging degree or an equivalent professional qualification.
  • •First aid certification.
  • •2 years of experience.
  • •Extensive experience and deep understanding of pumps, including different types, wearing parts, and related pipes.
  • •Extensive knowledge of dredging equipment (anchors, buoys, wires, cranes, winches) and familiarity with pipeline activities and NMDC systems and procedures.
