Key Responsibilities

  • •Architect and build the AI-native finance operating system, defining how agentic systems interact with financial infrastructure, data pipelines, and control/reporting frameworks.
  • •Evaluate and simplify Kraken’s finance systems stack, identifying opportunities to reduce manual intervention and define a scalable target architecture.
  • •Deploy production-grade agentic workflows automating reconciliations, close processes, audit/reporting preparation, treasury monitoring, and financial analytics with auditability.
  • •Build and govern AI automation in a SOX-regulated environment, establishing guardrails, data classification, and audit-ready design documentation.
  • •Create reusable frameworks, templates, and documentation to enable future Finance team members to safely build on the platform and drive adoption across the organization.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven track record designing, deploying, and scaling agentic AI systems in production.
  • •Deep understanding of LLM orchestration, multi-agent system design, and failure modes of autonomous AI workflows in high-stakes environments.
  • •Hands-on proficiency with Claude/Anthropic APIs, Python-based orchestration, n8n or equivalent workflow engines, and MCP or similar agent coordination layers.
  • •Strong domain knowledge of finance operations including close processes, reconciliations, treasury, financial reporting, and controls in regulated environments.
  • •Experience deploying automation in SOX-regulated or equivalent compliance environments, with demonstrated understanding of controls preserved in automation.
