Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as primary cybersecurity advisor and point of contact for internal teams and NASA customers, providing risk-based recommendations on priorities, investments, threats, and program impacts.
  • •Establish, lead, and continuously improve an integrated cybersecurity strategy, governance, risk management, and security architecture aligned to NASA standards and policies.
  • •Develop, maintain, and oversee cybersecurity program plans and adjust defenses proactively to address risks, vulnerabilities, and emerging threats.
  • •Direct cybersecurity operations teams, engineering teams, and incident response functions to ensure execution of NASA and federal security requirements.
  • •Ensure security deliverables meet NASA, NIST, and regulatory quality standards, including metrics tracking, continuous monitoring, audit readiness, incident response, and enterprise risk management.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of cyber leadership or enterprise cybersecurity program management experience.
  • •Extensive experience supporting NASA environments and tailoring cybersecurity solutions to NASA mission needs.
  • •Ability to lead customer relationships in high-visibility federal programs and clearly communicate complex cyber concepts to executives and non-technical stakeholders.
  • •Proven experience leading and mentoring enterprise cybersecurity teams, including performance management and skill development.
  • •Demonstrated ability to develop cybersecurity strategies, track cyber metrics, support audits, and deliver training/demonstrations; ability to obtain and maintain appropriate government security clearances.
