Senior Cost Engineer role within Turner & Townsend’s Energy & Natural Resources division, leading cost control across multiple projects. Responsible for cost data integrity, PMB and CBS development, and interfacing with management to ensure projects meet time and cost targets. Key Responsibilities

•Lead cost control for multiple non-related projects or a single highly complex project within the programme, ensuring data drives management decisions.
•Develop and maintain project Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS) and align budgets with Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) to track costs.
•Ensure adherence to NEC or FIDIC contract processes for management, control and reporting of cost data.
•Oversee accruals to accurately reflect Actual Cost of Work Performed (ACWP) and support forecasts.
•Collaborate with project teams to update forecasts and establish robust cost capture requirements, including WO/PO alignment and subcontract data monitoring.

Key Requirements

•Professional Project Controls experience specialising in Cost Engineering/Control across the project lifecycle
•Detailed understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM), progress reporting, forecasting and performance reporting and analysis
•Ability to obtain BPSS level security clearance
•Member of a relevant professional body (e.g., Association for Project Management, Project Management Institute)
•Familiar with different cost performance reporting and forecasting techniques
