Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver major features and architectural improvements across the Add-ons stack, including automated moderation pipelines, Reviewer tools, and DevHub.
  • •Establish and maintain engineering standards for reliability and delivery, including production readiness, runbooks, incident response, on-call practices, and definitions of done.
  • •Create robust observability systems and data-backed insights to improve platform reliability and incident handling.
  • •Improve CI/CD pipelines using declarative pipeline-as-code approaches to make changes reproducible, testable, and reviewable.
  • •Write technical documentation (design notes, ADRs, runbooks, incident write-ups) and work in unfamiliar codebases to trace failures end-to-end.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong hands-on experience building and maintaining production applications with Python/Django.
  • •Experience operating and improving production software systems with reliability and safe delivery requirements.

  • •Experience designing automated testing and deployment workflows, including integration testing and progressive delivery.
