Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute firmware supporting next-generation interconnect technologies (PCIe, CXL, MCTP, UBM, USB4) for AMD proprietary and industry standards.
  • •Develop low-level embedded firmware for embedded systems in an RTOS environment.
  • •Engage in pre-silicon validation activities including co-simulation with IP and SOC emulation.
  • •Support post-silicon enablement and production cycle efforts.
  • •Develop and support full design-cycle embedded firmware solutions across pre-si, post-si, and production.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong firmware development background with hands-on experience across pre to post-silicon and production cycles.
  • •Specialist in C, with strong C++ or Python capability.
  • •Experience developing and debugging embedded firmware and device drivers, including silicon bring-up and bug fixes.
  • •Experience with RTOS-based firmware development (including Zephyr RTOS) and communication protocols.
  • •Comfortable working in Linux build environments with strong communication and independent execution under tight deadlines.
