Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, operate safely and efficiently while monitoring gauges, and follow dispatch instructions. Manage delivery paperwork, communication with the dispatcher, and customer transactions, while maintaining DOT-compliant logs and operator records.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance or repair issues.
•Operate the truck to deliver materials to construction sites as specified, obeying laws and dispatch instructions.
•Monitor gauges during operation, investigate abnormalities, and perform operator maintenance and minor field repairs.
•Maintain communication with the dispatcher; review delivery tickets for special instructions and complete documentation and signatures as required.
•Maintain operator logs, forms, records, and written reports in accordance with company policy and Department of Transportation regulations.

Key Requirements

•Valid Class A CDL unrestricted and current DOT medical card.
•Demonstrates excellent customer service skills.
•Safety-minded with good performance, attendance, and punctuality.
•Willing to work overtime and weekends/holidays as needed.
•Willingness and ability to comply with OSHA, MSHA, DOT, and other company/state rules and pass pre-employment physical and controlled substance testing.
