Key Responsibilities

  • •Assess and validate FSEU for safety, reliability, and performance, including operational constraints, launch environments, site conditions, and compliance with energy/environmental regulations.
  • •Ensure engineering team execution of NASA-led efforts to assess conditions, identify failures, determine causes, and issue corrective actions.
  • •Oversee SIMO assigned tasks supporting NASA-led engineering and project management activities, including design, analysis, construction, supervision, inspection, and engineering services.
  • •Support Engineering Review Board and Configuration Control Board activities for contractor-led designs.
  • •Serve as senior technical representative for reviews and advisory boards, supporting NASA technical/program/planning reviews as needed.

Salary: USD 100,640 - 171,394

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, civil, or structural engineering.
  • •Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Florida (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or Structural).
  • •20+ years in the respective engineering discipline.
  • •10+ years leading teams responsible for contract-wide engineering functions related to O&M of large infrastructure and hazardous systems.
  • •Familiarity with KSC operations, programs, and launch activities.
