Security/Door Host - House of Blues, San Diego

Maintain safety and security at a live music venue by proactively engaging guests, removing hazards, preventing altercations, and guiding emergency evacuations. Inspect guests to ensure weapons and harmful items don’t enter using metal detection or pat-down searches, enforce venue policies, and protect against theft and property damage. Communicate clearly throughout shifts with radios and visual signals while preparing and keeping the venue clean and safe, including during special events.
