Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide comprehensive telemedicine care for family medicine, adults and pediatrics with a focus on older adults, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
  • •Perform clinical evaluations (history taking, virtual physical assessment, medication review, and geriatric assessment where appropriate).
  • •Develop individualized evidence-based management plans, including medication optimization, preventive care, lifestyle interventions, and referrals as needed.
  • •Manage complex geriatric conditions (multimorbidity, frailty, cognitive impairment, polypharmacy) and ensure continuity and coordination of care.
  • •Maintain compliant, accurate clinical documentation in the electronic health record while upholding patient safety and escalating risks or incidents per policy.

Key Requirements

  • •Medical degree (MBBS, MD or equivalent) from an accredited medical school.
  • •Residency training in Family Medicine from an accredited program.
  • •Board certification in Family Medicine and fellowship certification in Diabetology.
  • •Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) classification and registration as Family Medicine- Diabetology Consultant.
  • •3+ years of experience as a Family Medicine Diabetology Consultant (hospital/clinical setting), with experience in population health and value-based care; proficiency with EMR and telemedicine platforms.
