Job Summary

Responsible for parking vehicles and/or issuing tickets for guests at the venue parking lot area. You’ll retrieve and deliver vehicles or guide guests to their cars, keep parking areas clean and orderly, direct motorists to spaces, and patrol to help prevent damage and theft. Additional duties may include calculating parking charges, collecting fees, inspecting vehicles for damage, and supporting recycling efforts during events.

Key Responsibilities

•Park vehicles or issue parking tickets for guests in the parking lot area; may collect fees.
•Take numbered tags, locate vehicles, and deliver vehicles or provide instructions for locating cars.
•Direct motorists to parking areas/spaces using hand signals or flashlights as necessary.
•Keep parking areas clean and orderly and patrol to help prevent vehicle damage and theft.
•Calculate parking charges, collect fees, issue ticket stubs/numbered tags, inspect vehicles for damage, and open car doors for guests.

Key Requirements

•Position requires constant walking and occasional sitting.
•A high school diploma/GED is preferred.
•Previous experience as a Valet Parking Attendant/Driver is preferred.
•Must have excellent communication skills and present a well-groomed appearance.
•Must be able to present a valid driver’s license record with no moving violations or traffic citations in the past 5 years; one-year guest service experience is preferred.
