Job Summary

Design telecommunications and low-voltage building systems for mission-critical and data center projects, creating accurate 2D drawings and 3D BIM models using Revit (or equivalent tools). Produce layouts for outside plant pathways, MMR/IDF, cable tray, wireless access points, and structured cabling to support controls networks. Collaborate with multi-discipline teams, support design and construction phases, perform QA/QC on deliverables, and lead/mentor junior designers while attending internal and client meetings.

Key Responsibilities

•Independently complete BIM/CAD design assignments supporting multiple engineering disciplines.
•Produce accurate 2D drawings and 3D BIM models using Revit (or equivalent).
•Design telecommunications and other low-voltage systems and integrations for buildings, including audio visual and security.
•Perform QA/QC on design packages and ensure schedules and quality are met.
•Support design and construction stages, research and recommend components, prepare layouts/diagrams, attend meetings, and lead/mentor telecom design team members.

Key Requirements

•5-7 years designing low voltage systems for commercial, industrial, or mission critical/data center buildings.
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
•Experience with AutoCAD and Revit (or equivalent BIM/CAD tools).
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Ability to travel to project sites and uphold workplace safety and WSP policies.
